Friday, 13 Jan 1911 Volume 45, Number 2 Aged Cambria Man Dead Daniel Eberly Dead M. D. Eberly of this place, a tipstaff at the courthouse for many years, died at an early hour Wednesday morning at his residence on Julian Street. The deceased was born in Munster Township in September 1854 and was a son of the late Francis and Mary Eberly. He had lived in Ebensburg for 30 years. Thirty-five years ago he was a farmer at the county almshouse under Steward L. Lilly. Thirty years ago in Pittsburg he married Miss Many Onslow, who, with one daughter, Miss Mildred, survives him. Mr. Eberly at one time was a member of the marble cutting firm of Eberly & Wilkinson. The following brothers and sisters survive him: H. J. Eberly of Cresson; John Eberly of Altoona; Frank Eberly of Hollidaysburg; Augustine of Arizona; Mrs. Catherine Sanders of Munster Township; Mrs. Elias Henry of Greensburg; Mrs. D. A. McGough of Ebensburg and Miss Joanna of Loretto. A requiem high mass was said over the remains in the church of the Holy Name, Ebensburg, Friday morning at 9 o'clock and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
