Jonathan Eckels.

Funeral services for Jonathan Eckels, aged 58 years, who passed away yesterday at the 
home of his sister, Mrs. G. W. Bush, of Bowserdale, will take place Thursday afternoon 
from the Bowserdale Evangelical Church, where the pastor, the Rev. M. V. Kelly, will be 
in charge. Interment will be in Benshoff's Cemetery. The deceased was a son of John C. 
and Mary (Shuman) Eckels, and was born in West Taylor Township in October, 1868. 
His father passed away in 1921 and his mother in 1922. Jonathan Eckels was a brother of 
Delilah, wife of George W. Bush; Mrs. Rachael Rager, Mrs. Rebecca Davis, and Mrs. 
Laura Mitchell, all of West Taylor Township. Mr. Eckels' death was due to pneumonia.
