Friday, 22 Mar 1912 Volume 45, Number 12 Mrs. Eckenrode Dead Loretto, March 20 Mrs. Monica Eckenrode, 65 years old, died early this morning at her home here, following an illness of two weeks with heart disease. Her husband, Joseph Eckenrode, was killed about 24 years ago on the railroad while the family lived at Kittanning Point. Mrs. Eckenrode lived for a number of years on a farm just outside of Loretto and resided in the borough the past ten years. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Charles Will of Barnesboro; Ignatius and Samuel of Altoona, both engineers on the PRR; Mrs. James Jordan of Tarentum; Miss Bernadette, at home; Mrs. William Waltz of Cresson and Miss Nellie, at home.
