Melanethon Evans, a former resident of Ebensburg, who was formerly a 
mail carrier in Altoona, died at Hollidaysburg on Tuesday after an 
illness of four years. The deceased was 46 years of age and was a son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Evan C. Evans of this place.  He was twice married and 
is survived by his second wife and one son.  His remains were brought 
to Ebensburg on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday afternoon after 
services at the home of his parents, were interred in Lloyd cemetery.
