Saturday, August 5, 1899 HARRY EVERHART. At the hospital last evening at 5.30 o'clock, Harry Everhart, a brakeman on the Pittsburg division of the Pennsylvania railroad, died on typhoid fever. He was aged 21 years and his parents reside at South Fork. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment July 30, being removed from his boarding house, 1720 Union avenue. At that time the disease had a firm hold on him and it was not expected that he would recover. The superintendent of the hospital telegraphed the announcement of the death to the mother of the deceased last evening, but up until early this morning nothing was heard from the relatives regarding the dispersal of the remains.
