Friday, 18 Mar 1910 Volume 44, Number 11 Celestine Farabaugh Dead Carrolltown, March 16 -- Following a month's illness due to lung trouble, Celestine Farabaugh, a well known resident of Carrolltown, died at his home here at an early hour this morning, aged about 50 years. The deceased was a member of St. Benedict's congregation, Knights of St. George, Improved Order of Heptasophs and the Brewer's Association of Pittsburg. Mr. Farabaugh was a son of the late Edward Farabaugh and wife of Carrolltown. He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Rose Phalen, and the following children: Louise, Hilda, Mary, Edward, Clara, Clement, Adolph, Earl and Lewis, all at home. He was a brother of Frank Farabaugh of Patton; Isadore of Carrolltown; Sylvester of Altoona; Ambrose of Derry; Mrs. John Hildebrand of Cresson; Mrs. Henry Swope of St. Lawrence; Mrs. George Langbein of Patton; Mrs. William Wetzel of Carrolltown and Mrs. Martin Kuntz of Reading. The funeral was held Friday morning with services in St. Benedict's Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
