Friday, 16 Mar 1906 Volume 40, Number 10 C. V. Flick C. V. Flick, proprietor of the Central Hotel of Spangler, died Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock of inflammation of the stomach and heart trouble, aged thirty-two years. The deceased was a son of Peter C. Flick, formerly of Allegheny Township. He was married on January 18th, 1898 to Gertrude Lantzy, who with a little five-year-old son, survive him, and he is also survived by his parents and several brothers and sisters. He was a member of the following fraternal orders: Heptasophs, Catholic Mutual Benefit Association, Red Men and Light of the Legion. He was well and favorably known and had a large circle of friends and acquaintances. His funeral took place from St. Patrick's Catholic church, Spangler, this morning and interment was made in the Carrolltown cemetery.
