Squire Flinn Dead 

Portage, Sept. 30 -- After months of suffering from stomach trouble and 
complications due to an injury received in the Civil War, Squire William 
Flinn, a prominent resident of Portage died on Tuesday.  The funeral was 
held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock Friday morning, a high 
mass of requiem being said by the Rev. Father John Egan.  Burial was in 
St. Bartholomew's cemetery, Wilmore.
