Ebensburg Woman Dead 

Mrs. Sarah Fonner, aged about 69 years, died Tuesday 
afternoon at her home in the East ward of dropsy.  Funeral 
services were held at the late residence of the deceased at 
2 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. Chilcote, pastor of 
the M. E. Church and burial followed in Lloyd cemetery.  
One brother, John Ludwig, Sr., and a son, Frank Fonner, 
both of Ebensburg, survive.

Mrs. Fonner was an unusually heavy woman and before 
becoming ill weighed in the neighborhood of 225 pounds.  
Affected with dropsy her weight was greatly increased and 
it was necessary to order a casket of extraordinary 
dimensions.
