Tuesday in Mercy hospital where he had been a patient since Aug. 16. He was born Dec. 25, 1871, and was a retired coal miner. He leaves the following children: Mario J. of Dean, Mrs. Mary Cesca of New York City; Leo and Albert of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Nellie Smith of Johnstown; eight grandchildren, and one brother, Anthony of New York City. Mr. Fontanella was a member of St. Magadalene's Catholic church, Frugality, the United Mine Workers local of Dean, the Cresson Moose and the Coupon Italian Beneficial society. . . . FONTANELLA - Funeral services for Peter Fontanella of Dean, Pa., will be held Saturday at 9:30 A. M. with requiem Mass at St. Magdalene's Catholic church. Frugality. Celebrant, Fr. Gerald Sanders. Interment in St. Thomas cemetery, Ashville. Friends are being received at the gibbons funeral home, Ashville.
