Friday, 28 Apr 1911 Volume 45, Number 17 Farmer's Suicide Harvey Galbreath, a prominent West Taylor Township farmer, aged 53, committed suicide Tuesday morning by firing a load of shot into his brain. He committed suicide in a hayshed on his farm and the body was not found for several hours. Continued ill health is given as the cause of the deed. Mrs. Galbreath died about 20 years ago. Six weeks ago Mr. Galbreath disappeared from home, writing a letter from Pittsburg that he would not return, but he came back in a week. Six children survive, all living near the parental home except Homer Galbreath of Braddock.
