Adam Geddes, a brakeman, was instantly killed at Conemaugh on last Friday evening.  
He was highly respected, was aged 27 years and unmarried.

GEDDES - A young man named Adam Geddes, a freight brakeman, was instantly killed 
at East Conemaugh, on Friday evening last. While in the act of climbing to the top of a 
freight car it came violently in contact with the caboose car, and he was thrown between 
them, his head being terribly crushed.
