Friday, November 4, 1887 LOCAL AND PERSONAL. Henry Glass, an old farmer residing near Loretto, Cambria county, while crossing the track of the P.R.R., west of Lilley's Station, on Wednesday of last week with a two horse team, was struck by first section of Day Express. The wagon was a total wreck, one of his horses was killed, the other one so badly injured that it had to be killed, and he sustained injuries that necessitated the amputation of both his legs. He is 70 years of age, and the chances of recovery are against him. The Huntingdon Journal Huntingdon, Pa. Friday, November 11, 1887 LOCAL AND PERSONAL. Mr. Henry Glass, who was recently so badly injured, at Lilly's station, as to necessitate the amputation of both of his legs, died at his home in Allegheny township, Cambria county, on Wednesday afternoon, aged 77 years.
