Friday, 7 Dec 1906 Volume 40, Number 49 Found Dead at Munster Winfield Glass, a Well Known Young Man of Munster, Found Dead Near Railroad Tracks Winfield Glass, a prominent blacksmith living at Munster, was found dead this morning at Munster near the railroad tracks at that place with a hole in the back of his head. Mr. Glass was visiting relatives in Ebensburg yesterday and departed for his home at Munster on the 6:45 train. When the train reached Munster Mr. Glass got off but did not make his appearance at his home. When found this morning, the watch belonging to the unfortunate man was picked up some distance from the body. The deceased is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Miss Laura O'Hara and two sons, William, a blacksmith employed by Mr. Bannon at Cresson and Leonard, who is clerking in a Johnstown store. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Dick of Illinois; Frank, located at Cresson; W. E. of Allegheny township, formerly a Cresson merchant; J. Sherman of Munster; Mrs. J. H. Eberly of Munster; Mrs. John Noel of Lewistown and Miss Annie, living at Cresson. The funeral services will take place at 9 o'clock Monday morning from St. Michaels's Catholic Church at Loretto.
