GOODMAN. At 11 o'clock yesterday morning John A. Goodman, an engineer on the Cresson and Coalport branch of the Pennsylvania railroad, died at his home at Cresson of paralysis. He was stricken on Saturday with muscular paralysis and since then he continued to sink until death ended his sufferings. The deceased was born in Mill Creek in 1847 and since the organization of the Cresson and Coalport branch he had been employed as an engineer. He is survived by his wife and one son, Harry, who resides in this city. Dr. E. E. Goodman, of Eighth avenue, is a cousin of the deceased.
