Friday, 11 Aug 1905 Volume 39, Number 31 Richard Graham Richard Graham, a stepson of the Rev. John Radcliffe, was killed at No. 6 mine Tuesday morning. He was working in the heading stumps with three other men. At the time of the accident, he was lying down digging coal when a lump of coal weighing about 50 pounds broke loose, hitting him on the temple, killing him instantly. He is survived by a wife and one child.
