The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: February 10, 1872
Rev. Joseph Haney, who a few years ago was assistant pastor at the English Catholic
church, Johnstown, but more recently of Brownsville, died at Carrolltown on Monday
evening last, whither he had gone to recuperate his health, a victim of that fell
destroyer, consumption. His age was about 33 years. He was a zealous and faithful
priest, and we trust he has received the reward of the righteous.
