Vincent Hadden 

Vincent Hadden, of near Lovejoy, Indiana County, was almost instantly 
killed Monday by a companion named Boyd Young while hunting near Cookport. 
The boys were out gunning and startled a rabbit at which Hadden shot 
twice.  After firing the second shot Hadden stumbled and fell.  Seeing the 
rabbit had been missed Young raised his gun and fired just as Hadden got 
to his feet.  Hadden was struck in the back of the head by the charge and 
died almost instantly.  The deceased was 19 years of age and was the son 
of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hadden.
