INFANT TWIN SON AND MOTHER DIE AT MERCY

A Mother and an infant twin son died within a three-hour period at the Mercy 
hospital last night while the other twin son survives and is rapidly gaining 
strength.

The mother was Mrs. Edna Hall, wife of Jack Hall of Van Ormer, Cambria County, 
who gave birth to twin sons at the hospital at 11:53 o'clock yesterday 
morning.  One of the infants died at 11 o'clock last night and Mrs. Hall at 2 
o'clock this morning.  

A double funeral will be held for the mother and infant baby Friday morning 
with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Augustine Catholic church.  Interment 
will be made at St. Augustine.

Mrs. Hall was 33 years old, a daughter of John and Anna Rickard.  She is 
survived by her husband, six daughters and two sons, Evelyn, Dorothy, Jack, 
Margaret, Marjorie, Thelma, Lorraine and James.
