Tuesday Morning, November 12, 1918 HARRIS. Harlin Harris, a well known resident of Portage, died at his home, 903 South Railroad street, Sunday in his 65th years. He was born at Grafton, Huntingdon county. He was a machinist and stationary engineer and for some time had been employed as a night watchman at the Portage silk mill. His widow, who prior to her marriage was Jennie B. Hoover, survives as do these children: Alta, Juniata, wife of Rev. N. Frank Boyer of Portage; Homer G. of South Fork, Myrtle, wife of S. Kline Markley of Washington, D.C., Aden G. of Altoona, Esker E. of Uniontown, Arlie A. at home, and Paul H. Harris, a member of Company F, 305th engineers in France. These sisters also survive: Mrs. S. B. Smith of Juniata and Mrs. Alice Trewertha of Berwick. Private funeral services will be held at his late home early Wednesday forenoon. Interment will be made at Roaring Spring.
