MARIAN M. HELMAN

Of Kingsville, Md., formerly of Gallitzin, died Friday, June 8, 1979, at the home of her daughter, 
Joanne Chester of Kingsville.  She was born Sept. 15, 1897, in Coupon, the daughter of Francis 
J. and Marjorie (Quigley) McLaughlin.  In 1918, she married John Helman, who preceded her in 
death.  Besides her daughter Joann, surviving are two children, Audrey Cunningham of 
Plymouth, Mich., and Carl E. of Harrisburg, 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother 
and a sister, Jerome P. Seneca and Mrs. Marie Streicher of Pittsburgh.  Mrs. Helman was a 
member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Bradshaw, Md., and the church rosary society.  
Friends will be received from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Francis R. Lenz Funeral Home, Gallitzin.

HELMAN - The funeral of Marian M. Helman of Kingsville, Md., formerly of Gallitzin, will be 
held with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 
Gallitzin, by Rev. Arnold Gaus.  Interment in church cemetery.  Friends will be received from 
noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Francis R. Lenz Funeral Home, Gallitzin, where a wake service will 
be held Sunday night.  In lieu of flowers, mass cards will be appreciated.
