Elder Township Deaths
Mrs. Holowisky and Mrs. Weakland Claimed by Grim Reaper

After an illness of two weeks with an abscess of the breast 
which resulted in blood poisoning, Mrs. Katharine 
Holowiskey (sic) died at her home in Elder township Monday.  
The funeral took place Tuesday with interment in the 
cemetery here.  Her husband, John Hollowiskey (sic) and a 
six-week-old child survive.  The deceased was 23 years of 
age.
  
The funeral of Mrs. Celestine Weakland who died last 
Saturday of pneumonia at her home near Barnesboro, took 
place on Tuesday, burial being made at Carrolltown.  Mrs. 
Weakland was ill only one week.  She was 42 years of age 
and is survived by her husband and ten children.
