Friday, 9 Jun 1905 Volume 39, Number 22 Was Married by Prince Gallitzin Mrs. Mary A. Houston, widow of Edward Houston, who is dead at her home in Pittsburg, at the age of ninety, was born in Munster, this county, her parents being John and Elizabeth Connery. In 1835 she married Edward Houston, the marriage ceremony being performed by Prince Demetrious Gallitzin. The couple went to Pittsburg in 1837, making the journey over the Old Portage road and canal. Her husband died in 1892. Mrs. Houston was the oldest living member of St. Paul's Cathedral, Pittsburg. She passed through the great Pittsburg fire of 1845 and the cholera plague there. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, all of Pittsburg.
