Friday, 23 Feb 1906 Volume 40, Number 7 William H. Howell William H. Howell, one of the best known residents of Gallitzin, was found dead in bed about 3 o'clock on Sunday morning by his wife who is almost prostrated over the unexpected discovery. Mr. Howell had been a sufferer from heart trouble for some time but no serious consequence under such tranquil circumstances had been anticipated. Mr. Howell was about 64 years of age and was a veteran of the Civil War. In addition to his wife, the deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vene Knee and three sons, Francis, Harry and Charles, all residents of Gallitzin. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment being made in the Gallitzin cemetery.
