The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: December 08, 1870
In Washington township, on Sunday last, Dec. 4th, Mrs. Catharine Itel, consort of
Mr. Joseph Itel, in the 60th year of her age. Mrs. Itel was a sister of Mr. Frank
Eberly, of Munster township and was a most estimable woman, as well as an earnest
and zealous Christian. She was the mother of a large family of children and in all
the duties of life she performed her part with a devotedness and kindness of heart
worthy of a good mother, a true wife and an obliging neighbor. She departed this
life well prepared for the change and we trust that she is now receiving the reward
of a well spent life in the haven of eternal rest. Her remains were interred in the
Catholic cemetery at Wilmore today, Wednesday.
