Woman Dies at Age of 90 
Carrolltown, March 22

Mrs. Mary N. Illig, widow of John Illig, died this morning at her home in Carrolltown 
after an illness of five years of a complication of diseases.  Mrs. Illig was a daughter of 
Andrew and May Myers Strittmatter and was born in Carroll township, October 22, 1822.  
Mrs. Illig spent all of her life in Carrolltown and vicinity.  Her husband died several years 
ago.  Several children survive.  The funeral took place at 9 o'clock Friday morning from 
St. Benedict's Catholic church.
