The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: October 24, 1867
In this place on Friday evening last, Grffith Jones, aged about 50 years. We first
knew the deceaed in 1839, when his mind was but slightly eccentric. Some years
afterwards, however, his mind became so impaired that he was sent to the State
Insane Asylum, from which institution he subsequently escaped, and for many years
has been residing in our town and its vicinity. He was entirely harmless and very
kind hearted. His health had been bad for several months, but he had been moving
about until the day of his death.
