Friday, 3 Apr 1908 Volume 42, Number 14 Mrs. Thomas O. Jones Dead Mrs. Thomas O. Jones, formerly of Ebensburg but for about 25 years a resident of Pittsburg, died at her home there Monday morning. She was found dead in bed and would have been 85 years of age next May. Heart trouble was no doubt the cause of death. Thomas O. Jones died of asthma in Ebensburg probably 30 years ago and some time after his death, the family moved to Pittsburg where the sons found employment. Surviving their mother are Miss Maggie, Henry, Richard, Owen and Jonathan. Thomas was killed in a mining accident some time ago. The remains were brought to Ebensburg Wednesday afternoon and the funeral took place from the train, interment being made in Lloyd cemetery. The Jones family are well remembered by older Ebensburgers. They lived in the house owned by Mrs. Walter Davis on Horner Street.
