ELSIE I. KENNEDY

Mrs. Kennedy, 85, of 99 High St., Cresson, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1982 in Altoona Hospital.  
She was born Nov. 14, 1897, in Sankertown, the daughter of Carman and Emma (Everely) 
Butch, and married Louis Kennedy, who died in 1977.

Surviving are three sons: Alfred of Clearwater, Fla.; Donald of Columbus, Ohio, Gary of 
Cresson: 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are five brothers and 
sisters: Regina Dickson of Ebensburg, Francis and Curtis of Cresson, Leo of Fort Lauderdale, 
Fla., and Loretta Kinter of Belsano.

Mrs. Kennedy was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society of St. Francis Xavier's Catholic 
Church.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday in the 
Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson.



KENNEDY - The funeral of Elsie I. Kennedy of 99 High St., Cresson, will be held with a mass 
of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Xavier's Catholic Church, Cresson, by 
Father Carl Spishak.  Interment in church cemetery.
