H. B. KEPHART DEAD. Mother of Judge Kephart and State Treasurer Kephart Dies in Philadelphia. Philadelphia, January 26. - Mrs. H. B. Kephart, of Cambria county, one of whose sons is Justice John W. Kephart, of the state supreme court; another Harmon M. Kephart, state treasurer, and a third, Colonel Samuel A. Kephart, of the United States army, died today in a hotel here after suffering from a stroke of paralysis which she sustained last Wednesday. She was 74 years old. Her husband, a Civil war veteran, died 42 years ago. Besides her sons, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dudley Tate Easby, of Pittsburg. The body was taken to Cresson tonight.
