Tuesday Morning, November 28, 1916 JOSEPH J. KIDD. Joseph J. Kidd, of Johnstown, died Saturday evening at his home, following a brief illness due to pleuro-pneumonia. He was the son of Josiah L. and Sarah Kane Kidd, and was born at Duncansville, March 3, 1852. He located in Johnstown in 1869 and became an employe of the Cambria Iron company. He was employed forty-five years in the smith shop of the Cambria Steel company in the Flood City. Thirty-six years ago Mr. Kidd wedded Miss Levina Barnes, of Johnstown, who survives with a son, John, at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Maurer, Hooversville. Two brothers, John A. and William H. Kidd, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Menoher, all of Johnstown, also survive. He was a member of the Franklin street Methodist Episcopal church, Johnstown, and was a past officer of the Knights of Pythias, Jr. O.U.A.M. and A.O.K. of M.C. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late residence. Burial will be made in Johnstown.
