WILLIAM LAWRENCE KIRK	

Of 1301 Maryland avenue, Johnstown, died Saturday afternoon at Memorial 
hospital, Johnstown, after a short illness.  He was born in Hollidaysburg, the 
son of John and Amanda (Merritts) Kirk.  He was a veteran of World war I and a 
member of St. Columba Catholic church.  Mr. Kirk was a barber and conducted his 
own shop on Fairfield avenue, Johnstown.  Surviving are the following brothers 
and sisters: Mrs. Anna O'Connell of Altoona, Charles, Frank, Howard, Andrew, 
Raymond, George and Mrs. Kathryn Miller, all of Johnstown.  Friends are being 
received at the Conway funeral home, Johnstown.
