Friday, 11 Aug 1905 Volume 39, Number 31 Eugene Kittell Eugene Kittell, a resident of Braddock for the last 10 years, died Monday evening last as he was being taken into Mercy Hospital, Pittsburg, after a brief illness. Mr. Kittell was born at Ebensburg and was a son of the late Frederick Kittell. He resided at Harrisburg for 23 years and at Braddock since 1895. He was a baker and confectioner and at the time of his death was in business with his brother, Frederick Kittell, in Braddock. His home was at First Street, Braddock. The wife of Mr. Kittell died six years ago and he is survived by three children – Mrs. Elizabeth Spangler, Braddock; Miss Alice Kittell, Pittsburg; and Edward Kittell, of Braddock. He was a cousin of the Rev. William Kittell, Chancellor of the Pittsburg Diocese of the Catholic Church; the Rev. Ferdinand Kittell, rector of St. Michael's Church, Loretto; M. D. Kittell, Esq. and Mrs. M. K. Collins of Ebensburg. The deceased also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Flick, Whittaker; Mrs. Gertrude Wertz, Glenwood; Mrs. Michael McCabe, Braddock; Miss Mary Frances Kittell, Miss Violet Kittell, Miss Agnes Kittell and Frederick Kittell, all of Braddock and Pierce Kitttell of San Francisco.
