PORTAGE, March 19 - Mrs. Mary (Kapchak) Kostan, 61, widow of John Kostan, died 
Saturday at her home at Dutch Settlement, near here.  She had been ill for several weeks.

Mrs. Kostan was born in Austria January 1, 1873, and came to this country several years 
ago, making her home in Cambria County.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Emily Cassin of Cleveland, Ohio, and two sons, Andrew 
and Joseph, both at home.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning in St. Mary's Catholic 
Church, Portage, in charge of Rev. Father Michael Zamba.  Interment will be in the church 
cemetery.  The body was prepared for burial by Izidor Serenko, Portage mortician.
