The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: February 24, 1853
On Saturday the 11th inst., at his residence in Johnstown, Mr. Peter Levergood, Jr.,
aged 30 years, 5 months and 13 days. The deceased was a kind and affable citizen, an
obliging neighbor, a beloved son, a kind husband and an affectionate father. But a
few days ago, he was seen in vigorous health; now he is numbered with those that are
not. Even so it shall be to all of us. Let the living lay it to heart.
