Mrs. L. A. Lambert

Despondent over continued ill health, Mrs. L. A. Lambert, who lived with 
her husband on a farm two miles from Windber, arose from her bed early in 
the morning and going to a nearby field, took poison.  She died in the 
afternoon despite heroic measures to save her.
