Friday, 14 Jun 1912 Volume 45, Number 24 Died at County Home Humphrey Lewis died at the County Home Thursday morning. He was at one time a citizen of Cassandra and was active in the affairs of that community. He was one of the most useful inmates of the County Home. He served Steward Gray as night watchman. He was born in Wales in 1837 and came to America when he was 35 years old. He was a miner by occupation and suffered in late years from miners' asthma. His wife died a number of years ago after which he took up his abode at the County Home. He had no relatives in this country excepting a niece, Mrs. Albert Wolford of Cassandra. He was buried at Lilly Sunday beside his wife.
