LLOYD - This from the Ebensburg Freeman: "Mrs. Jane Lloyd, mother of 
the well known Wash. Lloyd, of Susquehanna Township, died on the 29th 
of July, aged about 87 years. Mrs. Lloyd was the maternal progenitor of 
fourteen children, who in turn furnished her with seventy- seven 
grandchildren, by the latter of whom thus far twenty-seven great 
grandchildren have been born unto her, The deceased borne twins twice 
during her married life, and on the principle of "like father like 
son", with a slight variation, four of her daughters have went and gone 
and done the same thing.  Peace to her ashes!"
