Friday, 25 Oct 1907 Volume 41, Number 43 Death Due to Paralysis The second stroke of paralysis within a week culminated Tuesday in the death of Thomas Lloyd, one of the best known residents in Gallitzin. Mr. Lloyd had his first stroke on Tuesday of last week while walking on the street. For some days he could not talk and was in a semi-conscious condition, but on Saturday he seemed to improve. Sunday evening as he lay in bed he suffered another stroke and sank gradually then until his death. He was 69 years old. His wife and the following children survive: Mrs. Michael Brenner of Pittsburg; Bernard of Hastings; Mary, Josephine and James, at home. The funeral service was conducted Wednesday by Rev. Manly, assistant priest of St. Patrick's.
