Va., following an operation. His home was at Carrolltown, Cambria County, where hs had been living tor the last four years. Mr. Love was about 68 years old. Coming to America from County Mayo, Ireland, when a young man. Mr. Love was for many years identified with this mining industry of the Connellsville region. In his earlier years, he was a labor leader. Eventually he became a coal operator and amassed a fortune, which had been dissipated by misfortunes which befell not only him, but many who had invested during the boom period following the war. He was interested in a number of coal operations, including the Love Coal Company and the Peoria Coal Company. While located at Everson, he was employed by the Byrne Coal Company superintendent of mines. For 30 years, Mr. Love was a resident of Everson, and during that time, became one of the community's leading citizens. Everybody knew Tommy Love. For eight years prior to going to Cambria county he was a resident of Connellsville. His home was the former Andrew Haas mansion in East Crawford avenue. In politics, Mr. Love was of the staunchest of Republicans. He served a term as poor director. His wife and nine children, eight daughters and one son survive. One of the daughters is a member of Seton Hill College facility. A brother, Joseph, believed a resident of Mutual, also survives. The funeral service will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at Carrolltown. Internment will be made there.
