HAROLD J. LUTHER 

Of Coupon, died unexpectedly at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mercy Hospital, 
where he was admitted Friday.  He was born Jan. 25, 1910 in Coupon, a 
son of Raymond and Pearl (Weakland) Luther, and married Mary Squashic. 
Surviving are his wife, eight children, John of Pittsburgh, Mrs. 
Mildred Kichurchak of Cleveland, Philip of Gallitzin, Mrs. Dorothy 
Schoch of Rome, Italy, Elizabeth, Donna, Harold Jr. and Nancy, at home; 
13 grandchildren, his mother of Coupon, and seven brothers and sisters, 
Charles and Raymond of Coupon, Mrs. Naomi Waksmonski of Ashville RD, 
William and Mrs. Eileen Serventi of Philadelphia, Mrs. Edna Benjamin of 
Altoona and Mrs. Mary Alice Forlina of Gallitzin.  He was a member of 
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Coupon, Gallitzin Twp. School Board, 
Gallitzin Lions Club, Hastings Moose, Patton Eagles, Mountain Top 
Sportsmen's Association, Ashville Fire Company, Gallitzin Pinochle 
League, Veteran of World War II and member of the Ashville V.F.W. and 
Gallitzin American Legion posts.  Interment was made today.
