Young Lady Succumbs 

The death angel visited North Ebensburg early Sunday 
morning and summoned from the home of Evan and Newton Pryce 
the lively spirit of their adopted daughter, Miss Helen 
Lydic.  Ten days ago the young lady contracted a bad cold 
which later developed into pneumonia and terminated in her 
death. Deceased was 14 years of age. The funeral took place 
Tuesday afternoon at 1:30, the family pastor, Rev. J. T. 
Jones, officiating at the services.  Miss Helen was a 
faithful attendant at the Congregational church and her 
presence will be greatly missed.
