The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: January 06, 1872
Mr. Mark McGuire, of Gallitzin township, one of our most valued subscribers and a
gentleman greatly respected wherever known, was instantly killed, on the 28th ult.,
while engaged in chopping cord wood, in a piece of woods not far from his own
residence...  The deceased leaves a wife and six small children to mourn his
untimely death. He was a loving husband and a kind and indulgent parent.
