(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 01, 1871 Died, at his residence at Lilly's Station, Washington township, on Saturday last, March 25th, Mr. Jeremiah M'Gonigle, aged 47 years... Probably no man was more widely known in this and adjoining counties than "Jerry M'Gonigle" as he was familiarly called. He was born of Irish parents in the village of Munster, four miles from this place, where his aged mother is still living... Besides his venerable mother, he has left a wife and three children to mourn their great loss. His remains were interred in the Catholic graveyard at Summitville on Monday, a large concourse of sympathizing friends participating in the last sad rites.
