The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: February 07, 1850
On Wednesday, the 30th ult., at the residence of his son, Michael M'Guire, in
Allegheny township, Peter M'Guire, aged 87 years. The deceased was among the
earliest settlers, having been a resident of this county fifty-seven years. He was a
useful member of society, a sincere christian, and was loved and respected by all
who knew him.
