The mountain sentinel: (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1844-1853: May 15, 1851
On Thursday, May 8th, at Duncansville, Blair Co., Mr. William M'Laughlin, aged about
26 years. The deceased died from the effects of injuries received on the Portage
Rail Road, and was buried at the Summit on the 9th inst., with military honors, by
the "Highlanders", of which company he was a member.
