The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: January 14, 1869
In this place, on Thursday, 7th inst., Amelia G. Thompson, wife of Mr. J. Alexander
Moore, and only daughter of Maj. John Thompson, aged 31 years... She was a regular
communicant in the Presbyterian church of this place, and was a most exemplary
member... She leaves a lovely infant female child one week old at the time of her
demise, a child destined never to taste the sweets of a mother's affection. The
bereaved husband and orphaned children, as well as a large circle of mourning
relatives and friends, have our deepest sympathy.
