The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: January 06, 1870
On Thursday last, 30th ult., at his residence in Carroll township, Mr. Michael
Murray, aged about 73 years. The deceased was born in Ireland, but emigrated to this
country as early as the year 1817. He settled in what is now Carroll township in
1829, where he has lived and enjoyed the good will and esteem of his neighbors ever
since. He was a faithful member of the Catholic church, and his honesty and
integrity were known of all men. May he rest in peace.
