MADDEN

John Madden died on Sunday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock at his home at 
Dean, Pa., after a short illness from pneumonia.  He was born in New 
York, Nov. 22, 1668 [sic] and is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Mary 
Brophy of Gallitzin, Mrs. Julia Reilly of this city and Ellie, at home.  
He was a member of the Catholic church at St. Augustine and the funeral 
will be held there this morning at 9 o'clock.  Interment in St. 
Augustine cemetery.
