Mrs. Mattes Dead

While on her way with a party of members of Johnstown hive No. 222, Ladies 
of the Macabees, to the home of Mrs. Catharine Gellar on Hubert Street 
Tuesday night, Mrs. Catharine Crowley Mattes of the Sixteenth ward 
suffered a fainting spell and died within 15 minutes.  Heart trouble is 
believed to have been responsible for her sudden demise.
